Wong Tai Sin District is a northern district in Kowloon, Hong Kong, ranked around 14th - 16th out of 18 districts in Hong Kong in terms of educational attainment and median income. The theme in this year’s festival is artificial intelligence (AI). UnitedChild hosted a booth at the event to educate attendees on how to use AI appropriately by playing a game of “Real v.s. AI-generated Photos.” This game, which was played by a young audience of around 350 throughout the day, taught them the characteristics of AI-generated images and how to distinguish between real and AI-generated images to prevent scams and misleading information. As youths growing up in a technologically evolving society, we have the right to know what is true or not with what we see online.
